The Taj is the monument that keeps alive the eternal love of Shah Jehan and Mumtaz Mahal. Its grandness is striking. It is made from white marble slabs and decorated with ornamental carvings on marble embellished with precious stones like diamonds and emeralds. The marble for the Taj came from Makrana and Makrana became famous for Marble across the world  after the construction of the Taj Mahal of Agra so much so that today Makrana and Marble are considered synonymous.

CIGMA Pvt. Ltd. is an enterprise of Mr. Abdul Rehman Choudhri who was formerly the Industries Minister in the Government of Rajasthan and is a recipient of the prestigious Vijay Ratna Award. Mr. Choudhri is a pioneer of the industrial development of marble in India and was the first Indian to go to Italy for training in practical Marble processing techniques in 1958. He introduced the first Cutting Technology in India by importing the machine with diamond saws. He is also the first Indian who introduced and exported Indian Marble to Italy & Japan in 1966.

The family of Mr. Choudhri has also been traditionally engaged in the profession of  Marble Mining and Handicrafts.
